Refund Policy

1. Satisfaction Guarantee

SwedSenior Insurance offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all our insurance policies. If you're not completely satisfied with your policy for any reason, we will work with you to address your concerns and, if necessary, provide a refund according to the terms outlined in this policy.

This guarantee applies to both one-time purchases and subscription insurance plans.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

• Cooling-Off Period: Within 14 days of purchasing a new policy (the "cooling-off period"), you may cancel your policy and receive a full refund of any premiums paid, provided no claims have been made.
• Duplicate Coverage: If you have inadvertently purchased duplicate insurance coverage through our services.
• Policy Cancellation: If you cancel your policy after the cooling-off period, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund of unused premium, subject to the terms outlined in section 3.
• Vehicle Sale or Disposal: If you have sold or disposed of your insured vehicle and no longer require coverage.
• Service Issues: If we have failed to deliver the services promised under your policy despite reasonable opportunity to rectify the situation.

3. Refund Calculations

Refunds will be calculated based on the following principles:

• During Cooling-Off Period: 100% of premiums paid, minus any applicable administrative fees (typically 50 SEK).
• After Cooling-Off Period: Pro-rated refund based on the unused portion of your policy period, minus a cancellation fee (typically 10% of the total annual premium or 500 SEK, whichever is less).
• Claims Impact: If a claim has been made on your policy, you may not be eligible for a refund, or the refund amount may be reduced to reflect the services provided.

4. How to Request a Refund

Please note that refund requests must be submitted by the policyholder or an authorized representative.

5. Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment when possible:

• Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunded to the original card used for payment.
• Bank Transfers: Refunded to the bank account from which the payment originated.
• Alternative Methods: In cases where the original payment method cannot be used for the refund, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method.

Please note that refunds may take 3-5 business days to appear in your account after processing, depending on your financial institution.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refund:

• Administrative Fees: Setup fees, documentation fees, and other administrative costs are typically non-refundable.
• Insurance Premium Tax: In some cases, insurance premium tax may not be refundable as it has been paid to the tax authorities.
• Policy Cancellation After Claim: If a claim has been processed under your policy, you may not be eligible for a premium refund.
• Expired Policies: Premiums for policy periods that have already expired are not refundable.

7. Special Considerations for Senior Customers

At SwedSenior Insurance, we recognize that our senior customers may sometimes face unique circumstances:

• Health-Related Policy Changes: If you need to cancel or modify your policy due to sudden health changes that affect your ability to drive, we may offer more favorable refund terms. Please contact our senior services department to discuss your specific situation.
• Estate Processing: In the unfortunate event of a policyholder's passing, we will work with the executor or estate administrator to process any applicable refunds with minimal documentation requirements.
• Assisted Refund Process: We offer telephone assistance for seniors who may prefer guided help through the refund process rather than using our online systems.

8. Disputed Refunds

If you believe your refund has been incorrectly calculated or improperly denied:

1. Contact our customer service department first to explain the situation and seek resolution.
2. If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate your concern to our senior management by emailing [email protected].
3. If a resolution still cannot be reached, you have the right to contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or seek legal advice.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Refund Policy.

For any policies already in force, the Refund Policy in effect at the time of policy purchase will apply to that policy unless changes are required by law or regulation.
